A great citrus highball. Eventhough this drink is relatively simple to make it is a good test to see if the bartender is worthy of more complex drinks. When you order a Madras there are a few bartenders who will give you a blank stare, this would be a good time to order a Vodka Cranberry.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 3 oz cranberry juice
- 1 oz orange juice

Get a little flirtatious with this pineapple flavored rendition of a Champagne Cosmopolitan. This is a great cocktail for romantic summer evenings. Mix this up just before serving so that the Champagne doesn’t loose it’s bubbles.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pieces fresh pineapple
- 1/2 oz Cointreau
- 1/2 oz vodka
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 3 oz Champagne
- maraschino cherry for garnish

There are two different ways to make this drink, it is a matter of preference and which liqueurs you have in stock. Both versions end up tasting like an old fashioned Peppermint Patty filled with a soothing blend of peppermint and chocolate. This can also be made as a shooter.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 oz white crème de cacao
- 1 oz white crème de menthe
- OR
- 1 oz peppermint schnapps
- 1 oz dark crème de cacao
- 2 oz cream

This has to be one of my favorite flavored martinis. I’ve had it on numerous occasions, made by numerous bartenders and myself, and I have yet to have a bad one. Since the release of PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur this drink (seen on many drinks menus as a POM Martini) has caught on in bars and lounges all over because the premium liqueur made a pomegranate-flavored martini easy to make with the taste of real, fresh pomegranate.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 oz PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur
- 1 1/2 oz premium vodka
- 1/4 oz orange-flavored liqueur
- lemon zest for garnish

The Boilermaker is as popular as the Irish Car Bomb and Jäger Bomb and has the same ability to get you drunk very quick, making it a popular party drink. When drinking dropped shots one needs to take care not to get too wild (although that’s a rarity in this case). Shot glasses floating freely inside the bigger glass have been known to chip many teeth, so consider yourself warned. That hazard and the intoxicating effect of downing beer and whiskey so quickly deems the Boilermaker worthy of only the bravest (or craziest) of drinkers.
INGREDIENTS:
- 15 oz draft beer (lighter is best)
- 1 ½ oz blended whiskey

This mix is supposed to take like Dr. Pepper and can be made a couple of different ways. It’s common that the shot of liquor is lit aflame then dropped into a half glass of beer, but some will also make it by placing the shot glass filled with liquor into the larger glass, after which the beer is poured around the edges, just to the rim and the liquor is lit. Whichever way you choose to pour your Flaming Dr. Pepper, it’s recommended you blow out the flame prior to consumption.
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 shot amaretto
- 1/4 shot 151 proof rum
- beer
