Get out your gold tequila and orange liqueur for a great variation of the classic Margarita. You may also hear of a Grand Gold Margarita, which is the same as this recipe but specifically uses Grand Mariner as the orange liqueur.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/2 oz Gold Tequila
- 1/2 oz Grand Mariner, Cointreau, or Triple Sec
- 1/2 oz lime juice
- 3 oz sour mix
- dash of orange juice (optional)
- lime wedge for garnish
- salt for rimming glass (optional)

This recipe for a Fabiola takes the classic brandy cocktail, the Metropolitan, to another level by adding Grand Marnier to the mix. It also uses the more delicate sweet vermouth, Cinzano Bianco, which dilutes the brandy and Grand Marnier without adding more sweetness than is necessary. If you were to make this cocktail with most other sweet vermouths the result would be almost too sweet and the vermouth would compete too much with the brandy.
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 oz Cinzano Bianco Vermouth
- 3/4 oz brandy
- 3/4 oz Grand Marnier

The Norina is an aperitif that adds a dry, herbal punch to sweet peach liqueur. It’s a very lovely mixture that is complex in flavor while keeping it simple. Just as in any of the vermouth drinks (or any drink for that matter) the ingredients are going to make or break it and vermouth is one of those that is often looked over as far as quality. I really do recommend Cinzano for this one, they make one of the best mid-range lines of vermouth and they’re extraordinary for everyday drinking.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 oz Cinzano Extra Dry Vermouth
- 1 oz peach liqueur
- lemon twist for garnish
