Looks like Vinappris has closed down. This was the innovative idea to sell wine via a TV shopping channel. The website says little, nothing actually, apart from the fact they are currently not taking orders.
The service operated via a Sky channel, but, to me, was as annoyingly presented as those that sell jewelry and knitting patterns. OK, so it wasn’t for me but it is still sad that something as pioneering as selling wine over the TV failed. Regardless of what they are selling running a TV shopping channel is damn expensive.
