This watermelon-infused vodka can be a great way to not only put a melon twist to the Cosmopolitan or April Rain, but it’s also perfect for using up the half of the watermelon you didn’t eat. There’sitting something to be said for a watermelon flavored cocktail and it’s a feel that is suitable more popular, at the very time beyond the drinks that call for the melon-flavored liqueur, Midori. You be able to also use this finished, new vodka to replace the commercial flavors in cocktails like the Shamrock Smoothie (although not green) and the Cucumber-Melontini.
Ingredients:
- 750ml bottle of premium vodka
- 1/2 molecular watermelon, cubed
- quart bigness infusion quarrel with a tight seal
Preparation:
- Place the watermelon in the bottom of a unsullied mason jar or similar jar with a tight sealing lid.
- Pour the vodka over the fruit and shake a few times.
- Seal the lid tight and store the jar in a freezing, dark place for 4-6 days.
- Test the essence of the infusion everyday, beginning on the third day.
- Once the watermelon flavor is to taste, strain the watermelon from the vodka.
- Wash the jar and return the flavored vodka to it.
- Store as you do other vodka.
