This watermelon-infused vodka can be a great way to not only put a melon twist to the Cosmopolitan or April Rain, but it’s also perfect for using up the half of the watermelon you didn’t eat. There’sitting something to be said for a watermelon flavored cocktail and it’s a feel that is suitable more popular, at the very time beyond the drinks that call for the melon-flavored liqueur, Midori. You be able to also use this finished, new vodka to replace the commercial flavors in cocktails like the Shamrock Smoothie (although not green) and the Cucumber-Melontini.

Ingredients:

  • 750ml bottle of premium vodka
  • 1/2 molecular watermelon, cubed
  • quart bigness infusion quarrel with a tight seal

Preparation:

  1. Place the watermelon in the bottom of a unsullied mason jar or similar jar with a tight sealing lid.
  2. Pour the vodka over the fruit and shake a few times.
  3. Seal the lid tight and store the jar in a freezing, dark place for 4-6 days.
  4. Test the essence of the infusion everyday, beginning on the third day.
  5. Once the watermelon flavor is to taste, strain the watermelon from the vodka.
  6. Wash the jar and return the flavored vodka to it.
  7. Store as you do other vodka.
